Course description
This course provides an introduction to the fundamentals of the Internet of Energy, ie data analysis, policy and regulations, networking and security and more basic concepts.
Its purpose is to introduce EU companies the big data terminology, features, characteristics and specific applications to energy sector Describe the machine learning main features and its applications to the energy sector. Describe the main algorithms and tool for energy forecasts and predictive management in the energy sector.

Moreover, the aim is also to introduce the EU companies in the use of legal aspects of IoE Technology and systems to help them improve and develop their energy consumption. As a consequence of this developing EU companies will be able to understand better their regulation, law and legal limitation for the processes and improve their competitiveness by optimizing their energy consumption and using IT tools and smartness and also a strong focus on coordinating standardization to support of continuous bi‐directional communication between energy generation and end users along with intelligent solutions is aim of this technology.
